Gilas Pilipinas beat Hong Kong by 30
Gilas Pilipinas defeated Hong Kong, 94-64 in their 1st game in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualfiers, game was held in Tsuen Wan Stadium in Hong Kong. Justin Brownlee with 16 points along with 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.
Kai Sotto with a double double – 13 points and 15 rebounds. It was a close game at the half with Philippines with only a 4 point lead, 41-37 but Gilas had a great 3rd quarter as they outscored the home team, 30-9.
Kevin Quiambao scored 15 points while Jamie Malonzo contributed 11 points. Scottie Thompson with 5 points, 9 assists and 2 rebounds. Dwight Ramos with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
Next game of Gilas Pilipinas will be against Chinese-Taipei on February 25, 7:30pm at the PhilSports Arena.
