Gilas Pilipinas beat Saudi Arabia, 2-0 on the road in 5th window
Gilas Pilipinas defeated Saudi Arabia, 76-63 in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers 5th Window held in Jeddah, KSA. Dwight Ramos and Roger Pogoy led Philippines with 13 points each.
Another solid performance by Kai Sotto with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 blocked shots. Scottie Thompson with 9 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. CJ Perez with 10 points but committed 5 turnovers.
Biggest lead of Gilas was 16 points but Saudi Arabia kept coming back in the 2nd half.
Philippines swept the 5th window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers and will play the last 2 games at home this February 2023 against Jordan and Lebanon.
