Gilas Youth eliminated by Serbia, will face Australia in Classification Round
Gilas Pilipinas Youth now eliminated in the 2019 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup after losing to Serbia, 87-60 in the Round of 16. Serbia will advance to the quarterfinals while Gilas Youth will face Australia in the Classification Phase.
Dave Ildefonso led Gilas Youth with 18 points but committed 7 turnovers. Kai Sotto with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists as Philippines remain winless in the tournament. Gerry Abadiano scored 12 points.
Marko Pecarski led Serbia with 21 points.
