Perlas Pilipinas with a big win over Singapore, 88-54 to open their 2017 SEA Games campaign held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Afril Bernardino led Perlas with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Janine Pontejos scored 13 points. Camille Sambile with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Great teamwork by Perlas with 8 players with 6 or more points. Philippines outrebounded Singapore, 58-42. Philippines now 1-0 in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.
