Gilas Pilipinas will face host Saudi Arabia in a knockout game in the Qualification to Quarterfinals Phase of the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup on August 11 (August 12, 12 midnight PH Time).
The winner of the Gilas Pilipinas vs Saudi Arabia will face Australia in the Quarterfinals, which led Group A, with a 3-0 record.
Philippines finished with a 1-2 record in the Group Phase as they lost against Chinese-Taipei and New Zealand but defeated Iraq. Host Saudi Arabia finished with a 2-1 record in the Group Phase as they lost to China in their opening game but won against Jordan and India.
So far Justin Brownlee leads Gilas Pilipinas in scoring with an average of 21.3 points per game while Dwight Ramos with 18.7ppg. AJ Edu is the top rebounder for Gilas with 8.3 rebounds per game while Scottie Thompson leads in assists per game with 5.3 apg.
