Batang Gilas U16 will represent Philippines in the 2015 FIBA Asia U16 Championship from October 29 to November 7, 2015 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Top Three Teams will get a slot in the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship.
Preliminary Round Groups:
Group A: Japan, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Malaysia
Group B: Chinese Taipei, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Lebanon
Group C: Philippines, Bahrain, D.P.R. of Korea, Thailand
Group D: China, India, Korea, Iraq
* Same format as FIBA Asia Championship, 1st round last place team is eliminated then go to 2nd round Group A/B Merge and Group C/D merge then top 4 teams from each group will advance to Quarterfinals.
