32 Teams in the 2019 FIBA World Cup

After almost 2 years of competition, the FIBA Qualifiers is over and 32 teams qualified for the 2019 FIBA World Cup to be held in China from August 31 to September 15, 2019.

Tournament hosts: China
Africa: Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia
Americas: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, USA, Venezuela
Asia: Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Korea, New Zealand, Philippines
Europe: Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Turkey

The 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups with 4 teams each in the Preliminary Round of the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China. Each group will play in a different city in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Dongguan, Nanjing, Wuhan, Foshan, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The Top 2 teams from each group will advance to the 2nd round.
