According to Coach Chot Reyes, Larry Fonacier made a request to pull out of the Gilas Pilipinas Pool due to a foot and back injury. Get well Larry Fonacier (@findingheaven12)!

I suggest to give way to James Yap for the replacement of baby assassin. He can help our team a lot! Just give him a chance.

personal assessment ko lang.. di po bagay ang laro nya sa international basketball. im a big fan of j. yap and though i see that he has tons of talent but that talent wont fit international basketball 🙂
dapat si idol james na lng kaso hindi nmn siya nakalineup sa gilas eh.. pero para sa kin si paul lee na lng ksi grabe ang ipinakita niya sa fiba asia cup kung wala si paul lee talo pilipinas sa china kung hindi pumasok lhat ng freethrow ni paul e di ano ang gilas nganga… so i decide paul dalistan lee is the right pick or choose for me to represent our country joining gilas in spain…… Because paul lee is a legitimate guard and shooting guard and paul lee is a strong , a heartful person and fight for our country so that’s why paul lee is the best pick for me and he is fit on coach chot system because of his outside shooting….

Please not Beau Belga, when you reviewed the last fiba asia cup in wuhan… he can’t run fast, and sometimes he can’t jump to get rebound… he is always flat footed on the floor… please not Beau Belga.. removed him from the list for the possible player that can replace Larry… one big guard that can post up also (small forward) cause were talking different height in FIBA World Championship…. For final message please not Beau Belga…
we cant deny that j. yap has tons of talent but that talent wont fit international basketball.
yes he can make clutch baskets and an excellent one on one player but his moves/plays suit only the PBA style. Gilas will benefit from the likes of paul lee, lassiter, etc..
