Looking for 2014 FIBA World Cup Volunteers

FIBA is looking for Volunteers for Spain 2014. Anyone can apply to be a volunteer, not only the residents of the six host cities.

The organisation will take care of all your needs during your daily volunteer work (provision of meals, apparel, etc.) however you will need to cover your own costs for travel and transportation, as well as accommodation and meals outside working hours.

2014 FIBA World Cup Volunteer Work Areas: Accreditation, Healthcare services, Information desks, Logistics, Information technology, Marketing and promotion, Media, Competition, Protocol and VIP services, Access control, Transportation, Volunteer service office, Team attaches and sport presentation and entertainment.

  2. I would really want to be part of the medical services since I’m a nurse. But I have doubts with this line “…however you will need to cover your own costs for travel and transportation…”
    Does it mean I would pay for my airfare to Spain?
