Rise is Nike’s first ever reality documentary and basketball development program. The program
hopes to inspire young Filipinos to discover that the ability to rise is in everyone, raise their game and realize their true basketball potential.
Rise Regional Tryouts Schedule
June 27 – Dagupan
June 28 – Manila
July 4 – Cebu City Sports Institute, Cebu
July 5 – Almendras Gym, Davao
Rise is open to both boys and girls, from 16-21 years old.
About Rise Philippines
Rise is a nationwide search across the Philippines for a Reality Documentary Basketball Program. No matter where you are from, or what court you play on, the chance is now open. The Country’s Streetballers will finally get their opportunity to step up and rise to greatness.
Former National Head Coach Chot Reyes and Filipino Superstar Jimmy Alapag will form our Coaching Team. They will be looking for those with not just the talent, but the heart, hunger, teamwork and passion to rise beyond their limits.
24 selected players will then receive six weeks of top class training, led by Chot and Jimmy along with a selection of star names, to prepare them for weekly challenges and matches.
Only 12 will earn the right to step on to the court for a final game in front of the nation against an all-star select team.
