San Miguel Beer defeats Rain or Shine, 1 win away from Finals
San Miguel Beermen defeated Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in Game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in the Semifinals series and just a win away from a PBA Philippine Cup Finals rematch with Alaska Aces.
June Mar Fajardo continued to dominate this series with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists but also got big help from Alex Cabagnot who scored 14 points and Marcio Lassiter and Arwind Santos who both contributed 12 points.
JR Quinahan led Rain or Shine with 20 points while Jeff Chan contributed 15 points.
