Tristan Thompson to play for Canada in FIBA OQT
According to reports, Tristan Thompson will play for Team Canada in the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Manila this July 5-10, 2016. Thompson was not included in the previous announcement of the Team Canada Player Pool.
Tristan Thompson is fresh from his stint with the recent NBA Champions Cleveland Cavaliers, where they beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 7. Team Canada is in Group A with Turkey and Senegal, while Gilas Pilipinas is in Group B with France and New Zealand.
