San Miguel Beermen beat Alaska Aces in Game 2 and now lead series 2-0. Marcio Lassiter made a crucial three-pointer in the end game and after losing the Best Import award to Romeo Travis, Arizona Reid sealed the game with 2 free throws.

Barangay Ginebra Coach Frankie Lim was suspended for 1 game which he will serve in the PBA 41st season and also fined P50,000 for hitting Calvin Abueva during the Alaska vs Ginebra Quarterfinals game.
The incident happened when Orlando Johnson and Calvin Abueva had an altercation and LA Tenorio pushed Calvin Abueva to the Ginebra bench, while Calvin was down on the floor, it seemed Frankie Lim hit Abueva in his back.

Another altercation in the PBA, this time in the Alaska Aces vs Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Quarterfinals Game last night between Calvin Abueva and Orlando Johnson then LA Tenorio gave Abueva a slight push and he fell down near the Ginebra bench.
Also Brgy Ginebra Coach Frankie Lim seemed to have given a slight kick to the back of Calvin Abueva during the incident. After this altercation, it fired up Aces and they came back in the 4th quarter to eliminate Ginebra.
