Gilas Pilipinas Coach Tab Baldwin will trim down the Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool to 14-players today, June 8. These players will join the Training Camp in Europe specifically in Greece and will also play in a pocket tournament in Italy in preparation for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament this July.
Paul Lee is confirmed to be out of the Gilas Pilipinas player pool for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament because of a recurring knee injury while Marcio Lassiter joins Gilas Pilipinas practice even if with a minor knee injury.

Recent PBA Finals MVP Paul Lee is out of the Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament because of a recurring knee injury.
Gilas Pilipinas held their 1st practice last night at the Meralco Gym in preparation for the 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Perfect attendance last night except for Ranidel de Ocampo who was excused due to injury.

Jordan Clarkson and Bobby Ray Parks was included in the 24-man Gilas Pilipinas player pool submitted by Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.
Philippines was required to submit a 24-man player pool for the FIBA Asia Championship, the final 12 Gilas Pilipinas players will only come from the 24 players submitted by SBP.
June Mar Fajardo, Marcio Lassiter, Paul Lee and LA Tenorio were still included in the list just in case they changed their minds in playing for Gilas Pilipinas like Marc Pingris.
Jordan Clarkson was included even if his eligibility papers still needs approval from FIBA.

Gabe Norwood will be the only player from Rain or Shine Elasto Painters who will be part of the Gilas Pilipinas player pool for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.
At 42 years old, Asi Taulava of NLEX Road Warriors is reported to have been included in the Gilas Pilipinas player pool which will be announced on Monday, August 3.
Naturalized-player Andray Blatche is set to arrive on August 1, 2015 to join training with the new Gilas Pilipinas players under new Coach Tab Baldwin.
The Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool will be announced at the end of the PBA Governors Cup.
