Jordan Clarkson is included in the Gilas Pilipinas Final 12 Roster for the 2018 Asian Games as announced by Coach Yeng Guiao.
After pulling out of the 2018 Asian Games a week ago, Philippines will finally send a team in Jakarta with the core of Rain or Shine Elasto Painters plus a couple of players from other PBA teams and 2 Gilas cadets and will be coached by Yeng Guiao.
Allein Maliksi will replace Paul Lee, who currently has a knee injury in the Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool as representative of Star Hotshots as announced by Coach Chot Reyes in the 1st day of the 3-day training camp of Gilas for the 2017 SEABA Championship this May.
Star Hotshots beat Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in Game 1 of their best-of-seven semifinals series in the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup. Paul Lee led Star with 18 points including a crucial basket at the end game while Marc Pingris with an all-around game – 9 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals.

SBP president Al Panlilio just announced the new Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool for 2017 led by Jayson Castro, Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Japeth Aguilar and June Mar Fajardo. 1st competition will be for the 2017 SEABA Championship this April headed by Gilas Pilipinas Coach Chot Reyes.
