2018 FIBA U17 World Cup Classification for 13th-16th Place: Batang Gilasdefeated Egypt, 70-69. Big game by Kai Sotto with 28 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks to lead Philippines to their 1st win of the tournament.

Gerry Abadiano scored 15 points for Batang Gilas while Raven Cortez and Forthsky Padrigao with 10 points each.

Philippines had a hot start and finished the 1st quarter with a 17-8 lead, their biggest lead was 20 points but Egypt with a big 2nd half led by Aly Abdelrahman Khalifa who finished with 17 points.

Batang Gilas will face New Zealand tomorrow at 12:15am for 13th place.
