Gilas Pilipinas finally gets 1st win, beat Kazakhstan
Gilas Pilipinas defeated Kazakhstan, 98-86 in their 4th game of the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge in Tehran, Iran. Mac Belo led Gilas with 30 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
Ed Daquioag scored 17 points and with 4 assists while Richard Escoto contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds for Philippines. Kevin Ferrer with 8 points and 4 rebounds.
Philippines now with 1-3 record and still has a chance to advance to the quarterfinals, they must win against Jordan tomorrow.
