Perlas Pilipinas with a come from behind win over Thailand
Perlas Pilipinas defeated Thailand, 69-67 in the 2017 SEA Games Women’s Basketball at the MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Allana Lim led Philippines with 16 points including the game-winning basket.
Janine Pontejos scored 14 points. Analyn Almazan with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Afril Bernardino with 9 points and 10 boards.
Thailand led for most of the game but Perlas outscored them, 18-6 in the 4th quarter. Philippines now with a 3-1 record.
