Perlas Pilipinas vs India in FIBA Asia Women’s

Perlas Pilipinas will face India in a Promotion/Relegation game on September 4, 2015, 3pm in Wuhan, China for the 2015 FIBA Asia Women’s Championship.

Philippines (4-1) was No. 1 in Division B while India (0-5) was last place in Division A (Elite Teams), whoever wins today will go to Division A in the 2017 FIBA Asia Women’s Championship and will play the top women’s team from Asia. While the loser will go to Division B and will play in 2017 for another chance to go to Division A.

Leading Perlas Pilipinas in scoring is Allana Lim with an average of 14.4 ppg, 6.2 rpg and 2.2 apg, followed by Camille Sambile with 10 ppg and Merenciana Arayi with 9.4 ppg. Afril Bernardino is leading the team in rebounds with an average of 8.2 rpg.
