2016 Rio Olympic Basketball Tournaments Draw Results
Group A: OQT1, USA, Venezuela, OQT2, China, Australia
Group B: Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Lithuania, OQT3, Nigeria

After the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in Italy, Serbia and Philippines this July, there will be another draw for the 3 winners of the OQT to determine which will be OQT1, OQT2 and OQT3.

System of Competition for 2016 Rio Olympics Basketball
-Each Group will play in a round robin format
-Top 4 teams of each group will enter the Knockout Quarterfinals
(Group A #1 vs Group B #4, Group A #2 vs Group B #3, etc.)
-Winner of the Quarterfinals will play in the Knockout Semifinals
-Winner of the Semifinals will play in the Finals for the Gold Medal
