25th FIBA Asia Championship for Women

Philippines will be represented by Discovery Perlas Pilipinas National Basketball Team.

Top 3 teams from the 25th FIBA Asia Championship for Women will earn the right to represent FIBA Asia at the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women in Turkey from Sept 27-Oct 5, 2014.

Level II (Qualifying Level)

-Indonesia

-Philippines

-Uzbekistan

System of Competition:
Level I – Each team will play all the other teams in the group in the Preliminary Round. The four best-placed teams in this round will qualify into the Final Round.

Level II – Each team will play all the other teams in the group in one Round.

Qualification to Level I of next Championship: At the end of the Preliminary Round the 5th & 6th placed teams in Level I and the 1st & 2nd placed team in Level II will play decisive games for qualification to Level I of the next FIBA ASIA Women Championship:

QFG 1 5th Level I vs 2nd Level II
QFG 2 6th Level I vs 1st Level II

Winners of Game 1 and Game 2 will have the right to play in Level I of the next FIBA ASIA Women Championship beside the four best placed teams of Level I of this Championship.

Losers of Game 1 and Game 2 will have to play in Level II of the next FIBA ASIA Women Championship.
