Batang Gilas will participate in the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup from June 30 to July 8, 2018 in Argentina. Philippines is in Group D with Croatia, France and Argentina.

There are 4 players 6’7 and higher including Kai Sotto (7’1), Geo Chiu (6’8), Carl Tamayo (6’7) and Raven Cortez (6’7). Bismarck Lina, Rafael Go, King Balaga and Jorick Bautista joined the team in Argentina but was not included in the Final 12 Roster on the eve of the FIBA U17 World Cup.
