Greg Slaughter wins Best Player of the Conference Award

Greg Slaughter

Greg Slaughter won the Best Player of the Conference Award in the 2017 PBA Governors Cup awarded before the start of Game 2 of the PBA Finals.

After missing a year of playing for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Greg Slaughter averaged 14.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks before the PBA Finals. Slaughter beat Jayson Castro (TNT), Chris Newsome (Meralco), June Mar Fajardo (San Miguel) and Arwind Santos (San Miguel).

Allen Durham of Meralco won the Best Import of the Conference Award beating Justin Brownlee.

Now that Greg Slaughter is healthy, do you think he should be included in the Gilas Pilipinas roster for the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers?

Of course! GREG Will be a FORCE to reckon with. Triple tower in JUNEMAR and Greg and Japeth. Japeth. Add Standhardinger if Andray cannot play. I believe Austin is not a Naturalized yet so we will need all theHeight, heft and size we can gather.
