Gilas Pilipinas Basketball

Japan won the 2017 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup Title after beating Australia, 74-73 while Perlas Pilipinas finished 7th place after defeating North Korea and will stay in Division A in the next FIBA Women’s Asia Cup.

Saki Mizushima led Japan with 26 points. Kelsey Griffin of Australia was named MVP of the tournament.
