NLEX Road Warriors defeated Formosa Dreamers, 94-68 while Blackwater Elite won against Samsung Thunders, 78-67 in Day 1 of the 2018 Asia League Summer Super 8 held in Macau.

Kenneth Ighalo led NLEX with 14 points and 8 rebounds while John Paul Erram led Blackwater with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
