I believe that the Philippine team can win..They already had proved it in the SEABA and they will surely win with their experiences as a team.
Sa palagay ko ito na ang pinaka malakas na team ng Pilipinas sa basketbol ang Smart Gilas. Mas magaling pa ito sa team nila Allan caidic at Samboy Lim. Kaya lang nag imporove din ang ibang country in basketball. Tiwala akong magchchampion sila sa Jones cup 2011
alam ko kaya nilang mag champion ngayon basta lagi confident na kaya natin sila talunin at higit sa lahat bilisan ang ball rotation at practice sa outside shooting
No! we can never win the Jones Cup anymore, I’m not pessimistic or negative but lets face the fact that basketball is not design to our race we embrace this sport created by americans, we can still love the game but we should not embrace it anymore it is time to MOVE ON and open our eyes and take the bitter fill, Lets put our time effort and passion to a game that we can dominate., a game that height does not matter….. like boxing,football, chess, badminton, and even baseball, etc etc…..
It is hard to do it and oh yeah lets keep hoping but lets stop disillusioning to our whole life we can do that, but philippines will never win anymore believed me, because this sport is not ours………

i think they have a good chance to win this league if they could sustain their game plan keeping the big guys of opponent team in foul trouble or stopping the ace or x-factors or other teams. As of now they are doing good giving good omen for the team. It is a long way to go. So let the past go and start to think about the next game to win.

malayo na narating ng Smart Gilas Pilipinas. Sobrang lakas na ng National team natin. I believe sa kanila ang William Jones Cup 2011.
At malakas ang loob kong sabihin na malaki ang chance na atin rin ang FIBA Asia Championships sa September. Good luck sa Smart Gilas Pilipinas! Proud kaming mga Pilipino sa achievements ninyo. =)

Yeah, Gilas will win, 4 points lng naman ang talo nila sa Jordan, tapos puro powerhouse naman ang 3 teams from Iran to Jordan, nakakapagod naman, lamang naman ang Jordan kasi Malaysia naman kalaban nila kaya nakapagpahinga 1st 5 nila, last test nalang nila ang S.Korea, kaya GO GILAS… lalo pagcompleto na sila with alapag, williams and de Ocampo.. more confidence na ang Gilas… GodBless..
