Gilas Pilipinas beat Ivory Coast by 23
Gilas Pilipinas defeated Ivory Coast, 85-62 in a tune-up game in preparation for the FIBA World Cup which starts next week. Jordan Clarkson and June Mar Fajardo led Philippines with 13 points each.
Kai Sotto is back in Gilas Pilipinas uniform and scored 10 points along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists while AJ Edu had a solid performance with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
Scottie Thompson is back from an injury and finished with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
Jordan Clarkson waxed hot at the start of the game scoring all of his 13 points as Gilas Pilipinas led at the end of the 1st quarter, 27-24.

Calvin Oftana, Ray Parks Jr and Thirdy Ravena was not used by Coach Chot Reyes in this game. Gilas Pilipinas will have 2 more tune up games before facing Dominican Republic to start the FIBA World Cup on August 25 at the Philippine Arena.
