Tim Cone accepts role as Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach for SEA Games
Coach Tim Cone has accepted the role as Head Coach of Gilas Pilipinas in the upcoming 2019 SEA Games in Manila.
Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas or SBP confirmed the appointment, for now Tim Cone will lead Gilas Pilipinas in the SEA Games only, future tournaments will still be up for discussion.

Tim Cone is currently the Head Coach of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the PBA, he is one of the most accomplished coaches in PBA history with 21 PBA titles including 2 Grand Slams. Coach Tim Cone also won a Bronze Medal for Team Pilipinas in the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok and a Gold Medal in the 1998 Jones Cup.
