Marcio Lassiter replaced RR Pogoy who begged off due to an injury. Terrence Romeo and Mo Tautuaa was on the original 60 player list submitted to the organizing team in China but was not included in the latest 37-man list sent to the organizers while Calvin Abueva and Jason Perkins was not on the original 60 player list.

There is still a small chance that these 4 players: Abueva, Perkins, Romeo and Tautuaa can play as the SBP and Philippine Olympic Committee will do a final appeal to the organizers of the 2023 Asian Games but in case these players are not allowed, CJ Perez, Chris Ross, Kevin Alas and Arvin Tolentino will replace them in the Gilas Pilipinas lineup.
