SBP starts search for next Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas or SBP created a search and screening committee for the next Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach composed of the following representatives from SBP, PBA and PBA D-League:
-SBP vice chairman Ricky Vargas
-PBA commissioner Chito Salud
-PBA chairman Patrick Gregorio
-PBA vice chairman Robert Non
-SBP executive director Sonny Barrios
The committee will send a list of recommended coaches to SBP president Manny V. Pangilinan and MVP will choose the next head coach of our Philippine National Basketball Team.

manny pacquiao maganda kasi mayroon extra bunos yung mga players kapag manalo sa laro,,so yung mga players mag pursegi cla manalo para mayroon extra income,,,hahaha wlang ibang coach na mag bigay nang extra bunos sa mga players nila…
I will still go for chot reyes. His recent international exposure should be a great learning experience which he can put to good use in the qualifying tournament for the Olympics as well as the Olympics itself should we qualify. He will be more mature now in his decisions and still maintains his ability to fire up the players. I’m sure he’s aching to redeem himself. Of course he will still need the help of consultants/assistants.
