Gilas Pilipinas grouped with HK, Taiwan, NZ in FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers
Gilas Pilipinas will participate in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers which starts this February 2024. Philippines in in Group B with Chinese-Taipei, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Each team will play with the other 3 teams on a home-and-away basis over 3 windows, with 2 games per window. The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup.
The 3 windows where Gilas Pilipinas will play at home and away: February 2024, November 2024, and February 2025.
Former Gilas Pilipinas player Gabe Norwood and veteran Iran player Hamed Haddadi were special guests in the draw event held in Qatar.
